A man pleaded guilty today to importing and distributing Viagra and other drugs without a prescription.
The Vancouver-based drug company pleaded guilty to conspiracy and importation charges, and to smuggling and selling prescription drugs.
The Vancouver-based company was charged with a total of 34 counts of importing and distributing prescription drugs into the United States from Canada and importing and distributing controlled substances. The charges were dismissed.
The company will pay a fine of $1.5 million for each count of importing the drugs, and $1.5 million for each count of trafficking them in the United States.
